Julie Marson MPMP for Hertford & Stortford

parliamentBorn in Barking and educated at the local grammar school, Julie spent a successful career in finance as well as serving as a magistrate and councillor. 

Julie was elected to Parliament in December 2019 following a campaign focused on the need to move Britain forward and deliver for people at the local level. 

Supported by her husband and son, Julie represents the people of Hertford, Bishop’s Stortford, Ware, Sawbridgeworth and surrounding villages, and looks forward to working with you as your MP for years to come.

Jonathan Kaye
Jonathan KayeHertfordshire County Councillor

Jonathan is Hertfordshire County Councillor for Ware South which includes Ware, Great Amwell, Hertford Heath, St Margarets and Brickendon.  He is Hertfordshire County Council’s Deputy Executive Member for Growth, Infrastructure & Planning.

At East Herts Council he is Executive Member for Communities and was Chairman of East Herts Council from 2019 - 2021.

Jonathan is an experienced broadcast journalist and presenter having worked for the BBC and commercial radio.  He is also a media trainer for TV News London, working with business executives and leaders of prestigious public organisations

He lives in Ware with Kezia and he has two sons who went to school in Hertfordshire.

Alexander Curtis

Alexander Curtis serves on East Herts District Council and the Hertfordshire Police and Crime Panel, is Chairman of the Hertford and Stortford Conservative Association and a member of the National Conservative Convention.  

He is a trustee of the Guideposts Trust, an emotional well-being charity with an office in Ware that works with vulnerable adults.

Alex also serves as a councillor on Ware Town Council, representing the Chadwell ward since 2019.  He was elected Mayor of Ware for the 2020/2021 civic year.
