As Great Amwell is only about 20 miles from Stansted Airport, we know that many residents are keen to know about the plans for delivering quicker, cleaner, and more quiet journeys.
The airport supports ‘airspace modernisation’ which essentially means finding ways to reduce carbon emissions, manage noise levels, reduce ‘stacking’, and delays for passengers. To meet the requirements of the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) Stansted are developing a ‘Future Airspace Programme’.
